Jan Emanuel

 Jan Emanuel was born in the Bayou State and raised in Natchitoches, LA.  Jan moved to Oakland, CA at age 15.   Jan is the proud mother of 4 sons and 2 grandsons.

Jan's hobbies are motorcycling, photography, traveling, cruising and visiting family and friends around the country.  She also enjoys singing and listening to R&B & Jazz.
 

Jan is an Independent Consultant specializing in Office Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Website Design & Content Development.

Jan is also the Founder & President of Divas For A Cure (www.divasforacure.org) and a member of the New Jersey Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club  - - organizations dedicated to serving the community and improving the lives of others.

Each year, I ride my motorcycle throughout the U.S. escorted by members of the motorcycle community promoting Breast Cancer Awareness and raising funds for Breast Cancer Research.  Since the inception of DFAC in 2005, over 25,000 miles ridden and over $150,000 raised for Breast Cancer Research - Divas For A Cure is still dedicated to the mission.

Why is this cause so important to me? It's very personal. "I'm not just a Rider, I'm also a Survivor!"  I am a three-time cancer survivor and also recovered from a cardiac arrest and a stroke.
